sounds uncannily like one of the supremo Generalissimo's own 'forceful' read (I tell the truth and nothing but the truth so help me uncle Sam--) statements.
We don't need to elect Generals they come pre selected.

FYI : How many people know that the Punjab Govt is paying each earthquake affectee Rs. 3,000 a month in District Battagram in addition to the actual compensation of 25,000 and then 50,000 and a third amount of 100,000 to be doled out in 2006 -07 -
Its General Elections for Idiots year after all.

Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind.

This is what I sought and, though it might seem too good for human life, this is what - at last - I have found.

With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
